Teaching Experience: 

Derrick has tutored several students ranging from elementary school to undergraduate-level, in a variety of subjects. He has also mentored freshmen at UTD, helping with class planning and selection, and pre-medical advice.

"Teaching sticks best when the instructor understands how the student thinks and comprehends; then, an educator can walk them through complex material using the learner’s own thought process, while anticipating any potential errors."
