Tristan Nieto is a seasoned educational professional who has been in the field for seven years. From Academic Coach to Reading Instructor, Language Arts teacher to Outdoor Educator, from private education to public to non-profit, Tristan's strengths are his diversity of experience, warm classroom presence, and flexibility.

Educational Philosophy:

Tristan's teaching philosophy is summed up in the Nietzschean philosophy that "He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how," meaning, that excellence can be achieved when the meaning of one's chosen path is made clear.

Interesting Fact:

In his spare time, Tristan trains Shaolin-style kung fu, writes poetry on his manual typewriter, and is pursuing a second Master's in Mental Health Counseling.
