Sam Welboren
Math/Science Instructor

Education:
University of Texas at Dallas (Mathematics, B.S.)
The University of Texas at Dallas (Data Science and Statistics, M.S. - In Progress)
Teaching Experience:
In senior high school, Sam often found himself helping other classmates with high-level math subjects such as precalculus. Sam was one of the leaders of his university's math club while he pursued his bachelor's degree. In the club, he would help students with homework problems in advanced courses such as calculus and introduce students to unfamiliar mathematics concepts.
Teaching Philosophy:
"A teacher should help guide students in finding their interests rather than only serve to relay information. Students learn best not only when they try to fully understand the topic of interest but also when they find enjoyment in that topic. People interested in the subjects they study are more likely to develop new ideas and use creativity in solving problems for those subjects. Students will benefit more from pursuing their passions than from simply knowing facts they are required to learn."
Interesting Fact:
Sam was born in Paris, France but only lived there for around one year.
