Education:

University of Texas at Austin (Public Health, B.S.)

Teaching Experience:

Over the years, Kriti has tutored students in a variety of age groups in different subjects! She often tutored her peers while in high school, and during her time in college she pursued a teaching certificate in secondary education health science. This allowed her to gain classroom experience teaching middle and high school students. She has also TA'd for Chemistry teachers during her time as a student at UT Austin. These experiences have allowed her to gain professional experience as an instructor both within and outside of a traditional classroom environment!

Educational Philosophy:

"I have found that some of the biggest challenges in teaching is motivating students to immerse themselves in the material and encourage them not to be afraid of making mistakes. I believe that as an educator, my role in the classroom is to support and allow for students to make mistakes and offer them advise on how to understand what went wrong and prevent it from happening again. Learning takes time and lots of effort and it is our responsibility to help guide students through this process smoothly."

Interesting Fact:

I have been learning how to perform an Indian classical dance form for over 14 years and still have lots to learn!
