Bryan Doan
Math/Science Instructor

Education:
University of Texas at Austin (B.S. in Physics and Math)
Teaching Experience:
While studying as an undergraduate at UT Austin, Bryan served as a teaching assistant for 3 years in introductory physics and math courses. His responsibilities included answering questions during lectures, holding office hours, and leading small group discussion sections. Since graduating, Bryan has continued tutoring students in a one-on-one setting covering various middle and high school math topics.
Educational Philosophy:
"As an instructor, I strive to foster a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking any question and are encouraged to view learning as a conversation rather than a lecture. I also believe that it is our responsibility as teachers to teach beyond the basics and ensure that students are well-equipped to tackle any problems they might face. Every student requires a different approach, and to me, that’s where the joy of teaching lies—overcoming challenges with all types of students as a team is truly a rewarding experience."
Interesting Fact:
Bryan is a Dallas Mavericks fan (even after the Luka Dončić trade) and has recently developed an interest in PC building.
