Counseling Experience:

Sruthi has experience workshopping college, extracurricular, graduate school, and MCAT essays and applications. She also has extensive experience in Creative Writing workshops and loves spending her time helping others craft personal essays. She is from Austin and has extensive knowledge of the college resources available for Austin students.

Counseling Philosophy:

"Every student is made of deeply unique experiences and interests that have shaped them into the person they are today. I strive to create an environment where every student is given the time and resources to understand themselves, their needs, and passions in order for them to create an application true to themselves."

Teaching Experience:

Sruthi has experience tutoring elementary school students throughout high school and college. She also has experience working with first-year undergraduate students as their mentor and helping them transition from high school to college. She also has experience leading a team of public relations interns at KVRX, the student radio station at UT Austin.

Educational Philosophy:

"Learning something new takes time and patience. I believe every student is capable of success, they just need some guidance, time, and space to grow."

Interesting Fact:

Sruthi loves music and got to photograph the artist Japanese Breakfast when she performed in Austin.
