Kabnpauj has worked with students ranging from pre-kindergarteners to high school seniors. During college, she worked as a student counselor for the Precollege Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning Excellence (PEOPLE Program) at UW-Madison, an intensive 2 month long, on-campus educational experience, where she held ACT prep courses and essay editing sessions.
“As a first-generation college student, I know first-hand how confusing and daunting the application process can be. My goal is to use the experience and knowledge I have gained to break the process down into manageable steps while also staying available for any questions the students may have.”
Kabnpauj served as a Tutor Coordinator with the Schools of Hope AmeriCorps Project after graduating from university. She was based in 2 Madison Metropolitan Schools where she tutored at-risk elementary students 1-on-1 in literacy and math.
"I believe that each student is a unique individual with a specific learning style and therefore deserves a unique approach to teaching. I hope to meet each student where they are at while also providing realistic and measurable goals to help each student to shine in their own way."
Kabnpauj is an avid traveler and spent 3 months WWOOFing through Japan where she lived out of a backpack and ate lots of takoyaki.
