"To go beyond rote memorization, students must learn to construct knowledge systems that help them comprehend, analytically link, extrapolate from, and remember information. My teaching philosophy is about connecting to the unique intellectual architecture each student has in order to present information in a way that facilitates the construction of these enduring systems of knowledge"
David likes to go kayaking, rock-climbing, hiking and enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors.
