Counseling Experience:

Hai-Uyen has worked as a mentor to her fellow students both in high school and in college, mentoring middle school students while in high school. She served as a mentor for inner-city high school students while at Rice University, providing college prep advice and guidance. She has also counseled students on college and medical school admissions. 

 

Counseling Philosophy:

"Every student has a unique set of experiences that helped them become who they are today. I aim to help my students identify their own strengths and weaknesses and use this knowledge to help them gain acceptance into their school of choice."

Teaching Experience:

Hai-Uyen has worked as a tutor with her fellow students both in high school and in college, tutoring subjects such as Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. She served as a mentor for inner-city high school students while at Rice University, providing college prep advice and guidance. She also has 6 years of experience in teaching mixed martial arts group fitness classes at 24 Hour Fitness.

 

Interesting Fact:

Hai-Uyen studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, and visited 15 countries in Europe!
